With 20 years of project management and customer service experience under his belt, Tory Smith is a trusted partner in your next real estate venture. Tory grew up in Texas where he attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a BBA in Finance. Tory spent over a decade as a general contractor providing invaluable insight across a myriad of projects in both residential and commercial spaces. Through these experiences he has gained a deep understanding of how quality and attention to detail are married in his passion for guiding clients through every step of the home-buying process. Real Estate was a natural transition for him, and Amherst Madison's philosophy of fostering lifelong relationships is the perfect partnership. He understands that every client is unique, and he thrives on putting together preeminent teams that work seamlessly to champion the varying needs of each client. One of Tory's favorite aspects of real estate is doing infill development. Because of his building background, Tory has a unique perspective on how to best utilize properties that have development potential. This rare hybrid experience allows Tory to help clients across all aspects of their real estate needs.

His work and love for travel has taken him from Texas to New England, Hawaii, and eventually landing in Boise to fully enjoy of all the unique opportunities the Treasure Valley has to offer. When he is not working, you will find him mountain biking in the foothills, exploring the mountains with his family and two dogs, and carving endless ski and snowboard tracks in our beautiful Idaho mountains. As a new dad, he and his partner Tamra laugh endlessly at the new experiences they share each moment with their new little buddy.
